Live It Up

What is it with people who insist on imposing stereotypes and THEIR impression of you on you?
Why do I need to prove otherwise?
Why do I have to explain why I'm not eating that bowl of shark's fin?
Why do you look at me in disbelief when I said I've gone skydiving and bungee jump?
Why do I have to justify that I truly like to go clubbing? Can't ugly people like clubbing?

Why can't un-important me live my life without judgment from these people who are not a big part of my life?
I'm not going to make myself miserable by living up to their Mis-impresssions. I cannot stop them from thinking what they want anyway. So to hell with the small-minded people. Go ahead and live in your fluffy lily-white clouds engulfed by radiation from the hole in the ozone layer. Have fun tanning.
And I'm not going to try and break their stereotype. Why disappoint them? Anything I say will end up sounding defensive anyway. So hell. I'm going to live my life, my way. Judgments not welcomed, thank you.
